Farmstand & U-Pick Staff

Blue House Farm grows CCOF Certified Organic produce and cut flowers on over 120 acres in Pescadero and San Gregorio, California. Now in our twentieth year, we proudly supply our local community with a wide variety of high-quality produce and cut flowers year round. Our onsite Farmstand is a mainstay for our coastside community and an important pillar of our business. We are looking for a reliable, passionate staff members to help us sell our gorgeous produce, run our U-pick program, educate visitors about the farm, and create relationships with local community members! Our popular strawberry U-pick program runs April – October. We also set up a pumpkin patch during the month of October. This position will start in April 2026 and will run through November 2026, with a possibility for year-round work. We are looking for rockstar staff members to work at our year-round Farmstand and seasonal strawberry and pumpkin U-pick program in San Gregorio, CA. Hours are Saturdays and Sundays from ~9:30am-6pm. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to add on other seasonal farm tasks as desired. This position is supervised by and works closely with the Farmers’ Market & Farmstand Manager and other management staff.

What we’re looking for: - Positive, personable, and approachable - Self-motivated and organized, with an eye for detail - Enthusiastic interest in organic agriculture, food systems, cooking - Retail or other customer service experience preferred - Willingness to accurately keep sales records - A strong work ethic: able to work reliably and consistently - Comfortable working alone and with others, and communicating with a diverse customer base - Must speak and read English, basic Spanish is a plus - Comfortable using an iPhone to accept digital payments - Comfortable working outside in a variety of weather conditions - Able to lift up to 40 lbs and stand up to 6-8 hours/day
