Delivery Driver

We are looking to hire an experienced, responsible and friendly driver to distribute our products throughout Sonoma County and the Bay Area. Working hours will range from 8 hours to 12 hours each day, one to two days per week. Day length depends on the volume of orders for that particular sales week. Primary Responsibilities: ❏ Drive a 16’ box truck throughout Sonoma County and the Bay Area ❏ Perform and maintain records of pre-trip vehicle inspections ❏ Follow the best practices for safety, both on the road and while loading or unloading a truck ❏ Interact professionally with all Front Porch Farm accounts, including grocery stores, florists, restaurants, and distributors ❏ Communicate with wholesale coordinator about any issues encountered throughout the day that impact delivery timing ❏ Unload the delivery truck upon return to the farm

Desired Skills & Experience: ❏ Minimum 2 years experience driving a large vehicle ❏ Valid CA state driver’s license (only class C required) ❏ Clean driving record ❏ Familiarity with using navigation systems ❏ Time management skills to ensure deliveries are made on schedule ❏ Physical ability to load and unload buckets and boxes up to 50 pounds ❏ Excellent work ethic— prompt, communicative, takes initiative ❏ Innate attention to detail ❏ Seeking team players who are generally easy-going by nature and who are motivated by a fast-paced environment
